Surely the translators must be getting it wrong. From the news items we hear, "Allahu Akbar", has to mean, "Beware, I'm a total monster" ?

Very true Mamy, it's difficult to imagine the terror at that moment especially seeing defenders (police) killed you would think what chance have I got.
if god is the greatest then why are these guys not already tucked up with 70 virgins? I mean would you idolise someone that doesn't seem to answer your 5 times a day prayers? I reckon this deity they worship is a bit of a charlatan.
Unless Allah has a mass-producing conveyor belt he is soon to be facing a shortage in the virgin department.
