I really dislike shopping for anything.......but I will go into Kettering for the above from Marks and Spencer....except......M&S Kettering is to close.
I won't miss their clothing because that's been going downhill for a very long time.....I did like their meal deals though......imaginative and good value.....especially using points from my credit card.....

I can't think of anywhere else in Kettering for undies which has made me realise what a dying town Kettering is becoming.....

I do know how to make bralets.....but I'm blowed if I'm going to start making knickers....so it's online shopping now....which puts an end to impulse town centre buying.....and just having a wander.....

Do you have a town centre? Is it thriving or, like Kettering seems to be, dying?..x

Until all was revealed I was under the impression that bralet was a typo for bracelet.
//so it's online shopping now....which puts an end to impulse town centre buying.//

It's our online shopping that is putting an end to town centres as we knew them too.
Oh ***. Me too, jackdaw... I've just spent 20 minutes hanging bracelets on mine to see what the fuss was about! :-)
So I'm not the only numpty then.
Still being educated about ladies underwear at my age ;-/
Apparently Birmingham isn't on the official list, phew that's a relief.
I thought all Sheilas probably favoured the Commando style - given the heat and humidity, 1ozzy ...
we have a few good places in Kettering Gness! Like The Yards, Kino Lounge, Cafe Culture, Red Rose (okay these are mostly food places)... I see your point.

I quite like charity shopping, and there's plenty of those!!!

That's what I said, Garaman......and though I'm new to online shopping it's how it'll have to be.....because there are so few shops close to home now.
You're lucky you can hang bracelets on yours, Pixie... ;-)
Always an education on AB, Oz....!

Lots and lots of food places, Anthro....and I like a noodle around charity shops but I do miss the shops Kettering had when I lived there....
Phillips! Now I just about lived in there.....I miss that shop so much.....Bee Inspired......couldn't afford the rent when the road was closed to traffic....the large wool and fabric shop had to move to a tiny room.....
The area around the old market is nice enough....if you want to eat.....
Mr Rays and Reflections ..... gone.
And once again! That bloody mates rates clock that replaced the beautiful tree....... :-(

Thank you, Jim....I have never made the news before......and intend to stay well out of it....not from fear....but in case I start offering Jordy suggestions..... :-)
Having recently moved and investigated the nearest town centre on market day, it was dire. (Although I generally hate shopping, I do like a good market). There isnt a M&S here (well there's a foodhall, not that I've ever found it), nor a Waitrose and the Sainsburys is a bit poxy. In fact the High Street was pretty awful. And the one way system is a devil so I just shant bother.

Sad isn't it, BM......a good mooch around interesting shops is nice even if you don't like shopping....and the towns are getting scruffier and scruffier as more shops close...x
