I am struggling because although I have solved a few clues, I don't know how to enter the answers - especially the down clues.
29a I believe is "vigilante" but there are only 8 spaces and I do not know which letter to leave out.

Have I got this right with the down clues also
21 my answer = Tortees (Tortes/cakes) + an extra E. Scrap = ort, "in"
Tees (River). Ie the wordplay has an extra letter compared to the definition (cakes) and it is this nonsense word "tortees" that is input.
