Is it true if you put a stinky pair of shoes in a ziplock baggie over night the stink will go away?

You won't be able to smell them while the bag is locked.

As soon as you open the bag it is worse than ever - they've been 'sweating' in all that plastic.

Ewww... thats what I thought was the logical conclusion.....Thx :)
put a wad of newspaper in the shoes. this should absorbe the smell
Talc powder would probalby help. Also Arm and Hammer (aka bakeing soda) Bakeing soda will take the smell out of just about anything.
err I mean baking pawder not soda. Powder.

Wait.... baking soda is what you put in the fridge, and next to the kitty litter to eliminate odors .... so maybe it is baking soda? I dont know about the powder though.... thoughts anyone?
