I very much doubt it. He is just trying to avoid a split in the Left vote which could let a Right candidate in.
There is nothing so dull than the internal workings of the Labour Party.
Not sure why you think Corbyn supporting a Unite candidate is seeing sense. They have already decided that the role will go to a women this time, so Lansman’s candidacy is a non starter.
I see, TTT, that you still feel referring to "Agent Cob" is valid. This is despite the fact that the Tory, Ben Bradley, was forced to make a grovelling apology for his absurd claim that MrCorbyn had been paid under that name for selling British secrets to a Czech spy.
Keep the "Cob", if you like...that's obviously just based on the name Corbyn; however, "agent" was manifestly wrong. Do try to keep up with the news, old boy!
