why is it that i spend twice as much shopping on line for food than i do if i just pop to the shops. I shop online mostly because i can't get out much to do with restricted mobility, but i am finding myself spending more than i ought, not to mention the 7 quid delivery fee.. does anyone else do the same.

I never shop on line. Perhaps when you just pop to the shops you buy only what you actually need.
I save loads buying online. I pay £5 a month for delivery and I get two deliveries a week. If the total looks too high I adjust my meal plan. I also use Asda price guarantee and get loads back from that.
Never shopped online. Cannot be bothered searching for all the items required.
You only have to do it once, David - once you’ve made an online list, you just keep going back to it.
I do just about all my food shopping online and love it. I got an offer for a reduction on a pass from Sainsburys but also shop at Ocado and Waitrose depending on what I need....I don't think I have ever paid 7 quid for a delivery!
I would never shop online. I like to choose my own food. I might do it one day when I am old and not mobile but hopefully, not for many years
Wekk, most food in supermarkets is prepacked - and you do save a lot of time!
