Good afternoon all!
Sorry to be a PITA yet again, but proofreading and correcting my Pal's 150 page document (MS Word 2007) and, nearing completion, the document has suddenly changed to 'Read Only'. PLEASE - is there any way that I can save the changes I have made and undo the Read Only problem?
Many thanks in advance!

Just "Save as" and use a different name. You can delete the original rename the new one later.
Use Save As and save under another name

Good morning bhg481 and fiction-factory!
Many thanks for your answers. I tried saving the document in another name and it worked fine.
I just wonder why it happened.
Many thanks again to you both!
