I am a lover of the comedy series The League of Gentlemen and it the last episode of the first series Tubb's and Edward's son David visits and decides to stay and live locally, however in the first episode of the second series he is a monser/beast! How did this change happen and why aren't we informed about it in the actual programme? Does anyone know?

At the end of the first series he has already began to mutate, his nose being the first feature to change. At the start of the second series he has become a fully fledged monster and we can only assume that the mutation has continued. Tubbs and Edward are a strange pair, so it is fitting that their offspring should be something from a horror movie.
