At the end of October, boy #2 was drinking some well known cola from a bottle when something hit his teeth - he swore it was chewing gum (not his own). Anyway, contacted the company who analysed the contents of the bottle and dint hear anymore. Today I received a letter confirming that it as chewing gum but they don't know how it got in there. Still feel queasy just thinking about it, doubt the boy will ever drink cola from a small bottle again :(

Sherr.....I've not eaten a well known breakfast biscuit since, as a child having some for a supper in the dark, I found myself chewing the skull of a mouse..... :-(

The company wrote about their production process and say it didn't get in the bottle at their factory (it's a big company). It hadn't been opened before the boy started drinking it (his friends couldn't have done it).
Wow Gness!! How awful to all. Chewing gum, good thing he did not swallow.
Question Author
Would have been double yuck if he had swallowed it.
Well if it's put him off cola for life, that's a result.
