The best and reliable method, and cleanest, if they are indoors, is the old fashioned Flyswat.
Blackfly and aphis are best treated with an insecticde such as dimethoat, heptenophos or pirimicarb.
If it is beans that are affected, which rely on bees to pollenate the flowers to set the fruit (beans) then I would recomend an insecticide with the ingrediant pirimicarb sprayed at dusk as this is reletivly harmless to bees.
Spraying the pests with a weak solution of washing up suds may also help to kerb these sap-suckers in the meantime. Good Luck. T bird+
I've just seen Lonnie's post that was'nt there when I started and now realise I may have got my blackfly mixed up with my blck fly (hopefully someone will benifit anyway)
