I thought the police were told they couldnt be free-masons
Has that changed ?

Surely it wouldn't be "The Freemasons" even if it was done, it would most likely be a local Lodge.

YMB....as far as I can understand, Freemasonry is rife across every Police force in the country, and as the organisation is so secretive, how can we sure that what the Police Federation is saying isn't happening ?
We can't. All I am saying is that it would be most likely local so the overall group can claim they dont do it.
Dunno if they are blocking reform, but Freemasonry is rife within the Police, and that is not healthy.

This strikes me as a completely idiotic thing to say:

Freemasonry is at every level, at every rank, and everyone knows who they are. Many join because they see it as a way to advance their careers, so the claim they are discriminated against is laughable.
