My Parents Are Very Impatient

I am very happy how I was raised by both of my parents, but the one thing I feel injustice about though is they are both very impatient, especially my dad, he can't stand patience to wait for anything and complaining most of the time, like he can't wait for a internet page to load or for the computer to access internet, says that cooking takes up to much time, how he can't wait for retirement that is in 3 years and keeps on complaining whenever the weather is bad, now I am saying all this because I was raised and told by both of my parents that it is good to learn patience and be patient and that you can't have everything suddenly, now I am used to being very patient with things in life but feel that unfairness that my parents, though taught me to be patient but they themselves aren't, and also with complaining, my dad tells me not to complain but he himself complains on almost anything and it is very annoying when he turns on his negativity, what is a good way to discuss about these matters with my parents?

Pasta...not at all. Jenns post is next to impossible to read.

English may not her first language, of course, but this is a British-based site and some effort should be made to express herself clearly.
Clearly expressed enough.

Jenn, sounds to me like you are all too much in each other's lives and you need space from them and they from you.

Their impatience is not something you can alter but you can change your life to be happier.
I wonder if Jenn will return to her thread ?
My dad is very impatient too, and moans a lot. One time, I told him to stop moaning when he was staying with me after minor surgery, and everything I did was wrong. He stopped moaning for a while, and then went back to his own house. I just let it wash over me now because I can leave his house when I want to.
Time to leave home, Jenn.
you don't need to discuss your parents' behaviour with them at all, unless it's making a mess of your own life, which doesn't seem to be the case. Save the lectures on behaviour for when you're bringing up children of your own. For now, you can shrug and let it wash over you or you can move out.

Thank you all for your answers, just to add a bit about my personal life, I am currently living with my parents and unable to work right now because I am the main caregiver looking after my mom who has a mental illness.
Good for you jen caring for mum.
Dad's impatience seems to be due to mum's health?
He wants her back to being who she used to be and that will never happen :-(

Try to be patient with them both, much easier said than done, I know.
