Is there any way of finding out the viewing figure for Nile Rogers Chic versus Jools Holland Hootenany last night? And which did you prefer? For me Nile Rogers. All the music was absolutely brilliant. But saying that I did love Jose Feliciano and of course Ruby Turner on Jools Holland as well ... Although I do find he has some weird bands on, which puts me off his show a bit.

they usually get published today but I can't find them yet.
would prefer the Nile Rodgers gig, but one can record and watch the other at some point.
I enjoyed Jools Holland. Some great songs even if I didn't know the bands.

I generally watch Jools, he has an interesting range of guests even if I don't like all of them. His show was the first time I ever saw Amy Winehouse and Seasick Steve. But last night I was watching old Grand Design programmes to clear space on the hard drive.
I watched Jools whilst waiting for Andy Stewart to come on...
I caught the beginning of Nile Rogers and didn't care for it. Switched to Jools which I always watch. It's because of his "weird bands" that I watch him. I too discovered Seasick Steve that way.
At least the Nile Rogers gig was live...I'm not into all the falseness of a New Year shindig recorded weeks earlier.
Watched Jools Holland and loved all the music that was played...one comedian appeared to be really quite drunk but he didn't speak for long. I have been in the audience for recordings of his show and it is always fun, although I have not liked quite a few of his guest....loved them all last night. A good mixture of ages of performers too.
I went to the same school as Ruby Turner

She was a year or two above me
I'd have preferred Nile Rogers were it not for that idiotic "look at me - I can slide my fingers up and down the fretboard" bass player. He was the same at Glasto. Very annoying.
