Went to the bathroom this morning to wash and shave but couldn't open the door. The handle wouldn't turn. It seemed to have seized up. Despite pushing, twisting, banging, it wouldn't budge. In the end, I kicked it in. Hardly any damage, thankfully. However, Mrs Clarion wanted to know what was happening, why all the noise? When I told her, she said it had been ok when she used it. What the fk use is a comment like that? But Mrs Clarion knows many, many things. It MUST have been my fault that the inside of the latch had cracked into pieces. Before I gave it the Manchester Technology with my size 10 Doc Martins. Cos it had been ok when she used it, see? But a quick replacement from Theresa's hardware shop round the corner for £2.50 sorted the problem that hadn't been there for Mrs Clarion. Don't you just love em, eh?

What is it about men? (I do love them)! Mine will have a temper tantrum because I must have put something away that he needs (he says) and when I point out that it is directly in front of him, a couple of inches away, says I must have moved it... When?
But we have put up with each other for 61 years, so obviously something has worked.
All these little hiccups make life interesting - most of the time - don't they!
I'd imagined you a Size 11 , 10C.
Yes I had lunch with hubby and wifey for about 55 years now -and it was hilarious to see and hear with wife - "he his this and not etc - yet but you could see she loved him and him with her.
