It was our Christmas lunch club for the U3A that I organised. Yesterday I had 5 cancellations due to ill health so I had a last minute reorganisation of seating plans. We had 55 people for lunch. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and I was presented with a lovely big bouquet of flowers from everyone. Such a nice gesture.

I went to a U3A lunch today too! Only 18 of us so you did very well,with your crowd! Mind you, that was only one of about 5 different lunch groups in our U3A. We eat out a lot in the Midlands!

Tomorrow is our Christmas party. We have caterers who do a grand job with about four different sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiches, mince pies, etc. We have entertainment from our ukulele group, singalong, I do a quiz, poems, a thing based on play your cards right. A raffle I organise with 12 prizes and time permitting one or two more items.
