Earplugs

Has anyone tried aluminium ear plugs? I keep getting ads for these on my FB page

I'm tempted but they are quite expensive. My OH is quite deaf so has headphones to listen to the telly, but even with the external sound muted and two wax earplugs in each ear I can still here it from his headphones. And I can hear him breathe. Would these aluminium ones block it all out?

Mine are issued to the factory floor workers by da management, jo.

However looks like Amazon have them.

If you do get those, jo. A little tip for you, most of the lads ( including myself ) pull the Yellow plugs off the string and put them in our ears as the string tends to irritate ( makes your neck itch ) our necks.
Mind you if you intend sleeping with them in your ears if you remove them from the string you'll be probably be having to search the bed in the mornings looking for them.
