I think Christmas loses its sparkle when it starts so soon... pressure on parents with young kiddies.... I buy things all year round and put them away..don't need the tinsel etc shoved in my face to remind me it's coming !

there's no such thing as seasons any more, except maybe for apricots. Manufactured goods like mince pies can be made and sold any time.
I like it when they start selling the really big Melton Mowbray pork pies.
with the glazed fruit ? get them in Aldi..yum yum.... now I DO buy them !!!

I rarely buy any xmas extras. My daughter said to my son the other day 'what are you doing for xmas dinner? Staying with the GF or coming here to spend it with the Grinch'
