In June I started a low carb diet, excluding bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, grains, beans and all sugar. 3 months later to the day I notice my hair is really feeble and thin, and loads comes out when I comb it. I'm now really worried about this. Has anyone else experienced hair loss linked with diet change, and when does it stop?!

No expert but I'd be surprised if the two things are connected.
Were it so my hair would be thick & luxuriant and long enough to sit on.
It's not uncommon in the first 3 to 6 months. Have a look here...

That site is an excellent source of information on low carb.
Yes it is normal when you diet to the extreme - it is a side effect I was warned about before my operation - that is why I have said previously that the only way to lose weight is to eat a balanced diet as opposed to one where you cut out food groups!
Low carb/high fat, and keto to may be considered extreme by some...but they also work for many. Also, doing low carb DOES NOT mean cutting out food groups, as the eating of plenty of non starchy veg is encouraged.
I do wish people would read up and not make assumptions.
Low carb in its various forms has been in use for several hundred years...with good results. Unlike the more recent option of counting calories and eating more processed food.
