You probably won't remember this:

.... but approx 6 and a half months ago I started on my journey to have dental implants fitted.
Well today was the big day - final fitting of the implant crowns and tonight will be the first night in aaaaaages that I won't have to take my denture out and place it in some water on my bedside cabinet.
To say I can't stop smiling at everyone is a MASSIVE understatement ..... one happy chappy at the mo ;)

Thanks for that, Giz. Keep on smiling with your lovely implants.
Well done Giz. Don't wake up in the middle of the night and try to pull them out to put in a glass !
I was told not to use very hot water, but warm was okay; but mine may be made of sterner stuff than yours, I don't know.

..... yea I'm probably over-stating what the dentist said to me. Thinking back, I don't think he said to use cold water only - he probably said to avoid hot water.
Anyway .... 2nd night of sleeping without my denture, but with a night guard .... getting used to it slowly.
Each time I clean my teeth, I'm still instinctively going to take my denture out to clean it lol :P
