Shooting brake. ie a car
More specifically a "shooting brake" is an estate car.
You don't say in what century she is. A brake was a small horse-drawn open wagon, a wagonette. The first 'shooting brake' was a small, open, horse -drawn one adapted for use by a shooting party . It had racks for guns and two long facing seats along on either side. The motorised version evolved into the ordinary estate car.
