I have thousands of cd singles and vinyl 12' records (some of which are quite rare) and would like to know if there's a site which has a guide-list or something.

You have a couple of choices. Make a list and forward it to a few dealers at ransom asking for a price - they'll probably give you a price for the whole lot. You can get addresses and contact details from a collectors' magazine like 'Record Collector'. This will give you a concensus of values. otherwise, extract the most valuable and get indivudal values, and then auction them on e-Bay. As in anything, your recordsd are worh what someone will pay for them - and remember, serious value will only apply to mint or very good condition copies.
