Wireless Showers

Does anyone out there know what the electrical requirements for the new wireless Grohe Showers are? We are only interested in the version without a pump. I assume it must need some power although I understand the two controllers are battery opperated. I've searched the web site but no clues there!

You can get some info on it here. http://www.grohe.co.uk/ Click onto the Wireless product. The two controllers are battery operated - they have to be to meet electrical regulations in a bathroom. The main thermostatic controller requires 230V supply it - to power up the wireless receiver and drive the thermostatic control servo. This wouldn't require heavy current use and I can't see why reason why it couldn't be linked to a ring main circuit as a spur off it. Neither can I see any reason it would need to be RCD protected (as electrical instant showers), but you'd better check that aspect with Grohe UK
