Hi - had Sky installed yesterday - all good & checked with engineer before he left. 5 mins after that, changed channel - tonne greeted with the message there is a technical fault with his channel - and this is with all channels - been through diagnostics with a sky q help desk and that didn't work - while I wait I whole week for an engineer does anyone have any ideas how his could be remedied? Thanks in advance

I'd check the dish connections to your box are secure...they might need tightening up.
Switch off at the mains, leave for 5 mins reconnect, it should be right.

Thanks both - Tried both - dish connections solid. Any other hints?
Have you tried taking the SKY card out and putting it back in again ?
By the way, make sure that SKY compensates you for the lost time !
With your remote, turn on the tel, go on to sourse, is that set to HDM|I/DVD1?
You could try switching the leads from dish to box. I'm assuming you have 2 leads.
