I have a old painting, I want to know is it worth anything?
It is a Catalda Fine Arts,

Order No. 1052

It's a cheap lithographic print. They turn up frequently at house clearance auctions and often don't attract a single bid. If you like it, keep it. If not, your local charity shop might get a few quid for it.

I see in a catalogue that a Catalda Fine Arts framed hand coloured print with image size 16" x 20" noted as being in very good condition sold for $69 in New York recently. Catalda Fine Arts produce only prints, not originals, and in the not too distant past were on the wrong end of a copyright lawsuit which may have put them out of business.
