Does anyone know what Thai food is low in fat or low in weight watchers points even? I cant imagine all the Pad Thai and fried rice can be good for you ! Thanks x

i used to live on soup/dahl and satay and any fresh fish dishes that were going, not to sure about how low fat these are but its the only time i've been away anf lost weight! in fact i think i need to head out there pronto :-)

You don't see many fat Thai/Chinese/Japanese people because most of their cooking is healthy....(Waits for everyone to scream " What about the curries!!!"
Seriously, I'm not talking about recipe dishes you buy in the supermarket (preservatives), but your own wholesome stir-fries. You do not need to use oil or fat if you don't want to..just a little stock or even water will cook your food....

Using fresh vegetables and meat (if your not a veggie)
is low in calories if cooked this way...

Remember though that the food you eat in most restaurants, is not always the food they eat themselves.

Just don't go frying the prawn crackers, egg(pancake) rolls,
crispy won ton, otherwise your defeating the object!!

Avoid the curries, as they are made with coconut milk which is very fattening. Go for steamed fish, vegetables, rice, etc instead. I'm sure you'll be able to work out whats ok and whats not from the menu, most of them usually list things as fried, steamed etc.

I lost loads of weight while I was out there too mccfluff, although i think that may have been down to having the squirts!
