OK we're really keen on getting a dog/puppy....

I live at home with my mum and brother. My brother is not working and my mum works with my dad in a family run business - so no strict schedule - except for me - who works 9-5.30.

We live in a block of flats on a nice road in NW London. We have a garden so will be able to let the dog out often.

Both my neighbours have dogs - one is a staff and the other is an Irish Mongrel i think...both are very well behaved.

ANYWAY - Did a test on the net and it said to get a Scottish Terrier....lovely dogs and i'd happliy get one but...

Anyone else got any ideas??

We only want a small dog - nothing big.

Scottish terriers are lovely dogs. I've also come across Jack Russells before and they're really lovely with good temperaments, intelligence, bundles of personality as well as being spritely. Whatever breed you choose though, do check the differences between a b!tch and a dog because some genders are known to have different dispositions.
I have got Bichon Frise's , they are small and very sweet little dogs, but I think if you get a dog then you should rescue one. Give an unwanted dog a good home x
westie or a scottish terrier would be lovely..i'd love a couple

Why not go to the animal shelter and have a look around? You may fall in love with a mutt :)

Yeah i think i'll go to Battersea Dogs home - my mum has always said if she went there, she'd have to pick the ugliest dog.... bless.

I tried calling up for a homeless dog that i saw on the Paul O Grady show - but couldnt get through - i was gutted.

I have a Scottie (and a Westie) my Scottie has just gone 9 years old. She is lovely (well I would say that ) I would have another one anyday. They make great pet's The can walk all day if you are out walking or they will spend the day in if you are not going out - they fit into family life lovely.

They are great little dogs
