You know the people that take textiles from outside your house. Do they take anything?

The ones at the recycling says cleans clothes, bedding, etc, but the ones that take from outside don't stipulate anything.

I'm having a clear out and have lots of sleeping bags (festivals) they have been cleaned but it would have been years ago.

Maybe you could donate them to the local homeless charity. Local animal charities might take them as well.
ask the sally army if they want them

There's also lots of clothes as well.

I don't have a car so am a bit restricted.
You could put them on Streetlife/Freecycle and if anybody wanted them they would pick them up
