Hi,

I am in a long-distance realtionship with my girlfreind, who lives in Stockholm, Sweden and I in Ireland. Just several days ago her mother suddenly passed away whilst on holidays in Spain. My girlfriend is inconsolable and very down. I am due to go over there in a week , but in the meantime , I have been on the phone and skype to try and 'be there' for her however its proving to be very diificult .

Other than sending flowers does anyone have any ideas as to what i could do as a 'gesture' for her family or to cheer her up a little? Something so that she knows I'm thinking about her and will be there soon.

Many Thanks

Could you make her up a little parcel of stuff? just a few things to help her relax and feel loved. I cant actually think of any examples (sorry) but you knw her, try and think of something personal that shows you have really thought about her.
