I bought a bulb via ebay, but it can be purchased from the company that sells them.

Try www.ecozone.co.uk. They are not cheap, but if they work then I don't care. I have only had mine a couple of weeks.

Susan

I use a daylight simulation bulb in an anglepoise lamp for my calligraphy and always wondered why I didn't get depressed when I was doing calligraphy. I thought at first that it was because I was doing a favourite hobby, but after leaving it on for some time by accident whilst I was sitting in the room, not doing my calligraphy, I noticed that my mood was much better and I wasn't nearly as lethargic as usual for the winter.

Lightboxes for SAD are about 40 each and my lamp was 5.99. The bulbs are about 1.00 each from craft catalogues so it is much cheaper and I have used the same bulb for about five years now. It really works wonders!!! Worth a try.
