yes they do but they are alot smaller (or is it im alot bigger) i think you can also buy them online on one of the british food for expats websites sorry havnt got an address handy
I can safely say they should be easy to find, either singly or in multipacks. I have bought in all the major supermarkets and in local shops. Yes, I like them!
,,,,,but they used to be the size of step ladders, and were only a fraction of a new penny each when Terry Scott used to advertise them. Whereas Nostalgia Bars were the same size as Brazil and the manufacturers enclosed a five pound note in every wrapper.....and they only cost a farthing!
Luxury. I got an Everlasting Strip at the pictures when i was a kid, a fathom in length for a groat and it's still over 99% of its original size and i chew it everday.
In an effort to solve the great mystery, anybody with small childern supply them with a wagon wheel and curly whirrly. Take exact measurements and put these along with a sample of both into a timecapsule and put it in the loft, in 20 years please give you children a contemprary wagon wheel and curly whirrly ask them if they think they are smaller than when you gave them to them 20 years previously. Then get the timecapsule and comapre the measurements to the current ones and we should get and answer.
Woolworths are great for old-days choc. They may sell them. Having said that, little newsagents hidden away down quiet roads sell "Starbars" which are SO hard to find thesedays... Happy Hunting...
