I am having an Endoscopy next Wed and started the low fibre diet today one has to have four days prior .
Can anyone tell me what they ate apart from the stuff stated in the info.which the hospital gave me.
Only white meat,fish and potaI toes is sooo boring!!!

I've had lots and they are fine. It is very dignified considering, and way less stressful than a smear. You lie on your side with your knees bent, and they give you some sedation. You feel nice and woozy and they put the camera in- I didn't even feel it. I watched it on the TV screen cos it was fascinating, but you don't have to! They take tiny biopsies as they go round,...

Thank you,thank you.I do intend to enjoy Xmas,all the family on the day...as per usual...everyone likes coming to Mum's and Nana's.Boxing Day only half will be here and then a board game after dinner .The evening is mine to watch my soaps and favourite programmes.
Now we just have to get my OH's knee replacement over,due to be done early in the New Year,actually it is a replacement of a replacement .

Yes Scarlett,it did work,I was unable to finish it all but I was clear fro the procedure.
I am back to ask if anyone experienced tummy pains after having it done...I am...I started my Iron Tablets the days after,last Thursday ,along with my Omeprozole and Nyproxen,the latter two I had stopped taking when I had been to the doc`s as the latter of these two can cause bleeding in the tummy.But was told to carry on with them now.
Since Wednesday,felt I wanted to go to the loo all the time,still do.
On Xmas day ,the pains were terrible and I was running to the loo a lot(the runs),don`t w if it was something I had ate or what.
So I have stopped the Iron tablets until I get to see the doc,hopefully tomorrow.
