Yes, Janzman.....I watched it and, having been a wardrobe mistress for an am dram company, I know how wrong things can go......
If you're doing Superstar and Jesus doesn't stand quite in the right place for the crucifixion scene the big wooden cross being lowered down will land on his head.....removing the crown of thorns took some time.....
Mischief Theatre Company also does.......The Play that Goes Wrong which I've heard is brilliant too......must get myself to London for them......x
We saw the Play that goes wrong by Mischief Theatre Company at the Edinburgh Festival a few years ago...it was absolutely side-splitting. I do not know when I laughed so much....so I would wholeheartedly advise going to it.
We saw Peter Pan goes wrong on stage at the Kings in Edinburgh too and although it was very funny, I thought The Play that Goes Wrong was even better.
I didn't see the TV version, but I'll definitely have a look on catch-up.
I particularly enjoyed the bits where Peter Pan kept getting flown into the scenery. Having been an ASM, tasked with the job of flying both scenery and actors into position, I know just how easy it is to get it wrong!
