Why so much smoke it blots out the fireworks so all you seem to see is the smoke with lights behind? It never use to be like that years ago.

Years ago we had more sense than to waste all that money blowing stuff up.

My cats enjoy watching them.
The amount of smoke which is visible is dependent upon the humidity in the air, Dunnitall. The same display can look very 'smoky' on some occasions and almost 'smoke free' on others.

Didn't know that Chris but even so years ago we had humid and damp conditions but not so much smoke. I wonder if it's to do with the force of them now, they are SO much louder, definitely explosions! Wolfe, how right you are, glad your cats enjoy them.
Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.
