Went there today. Absolutely heaving. Parking was horrendous, only managed to see half of it as couldn't park near second venues. Prices of everything up on autumn food fair. Sausages only 4 in a pack for £4 or three packs for £10. Small tinfoil tub of pate £6.50. Very small jar of chutney £6.
Needless to say we didn't buy anything. And we had to pay £5 to get in!
I'm not a skinflint but do not like getting ripped off.
I spent a lot of money at the Good Food Show.

Eventually they'll price themselves out, be a shame but seems inevitable.

I hate being ripped off, which is different to paying for quality.

That's right Mamya. I don't mind paying for good or unusual stuff, but I won't be ripped off. Felt quite cheated on the way home. It's about 35 miles away and felt we had wasted a good part of the day. Having said that we do go about once a month for their Tuesday market which is very good.
I also agree they'll price themselves out, I'm not a skinflint either but I'm also not a fool.
We had the same experience a few years ago Caran, and pledged never to return. We like the trip to Abergavenny at other times of the year. especially on Market Days, but these special "food fairs" are a rip off. Abergavenny never has enough parking at the best of times.

Best avoided in the future methinks !
Do you mean Y Fenni?
