New Judge at 15.18 thanks. We are agreed that leaving the EU means the rights of UK citizens will be changed. It matters not if you want to keep those rights, the salient point is that the rights will change.
The appeal court was unanimous that a change of 'rights' has to be fully debated in parliment. As you say the supreme court MAY not agree , but both you and I think it very unlikely. ( even more unlikely now we have seen the first few hours of the case )

The people voted to leave the EU knowing that their rights would probably change after negotiations with the EU were completed - that 'free movement' for example works both ways. As it is impossible to trigger A50 knowing what those changes might be in advance is like debating how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, trying to second guess the result of negotiations is fruitless. Perhaps the judges will reject the appeal but exactly what could parliament base its debate upon in that case?

In fact Cam ( 'dear Cam') said the Bill of Rights would have LESS rights than previously but hey he also assured us - that would be a good thing ....

you will be glad to learn that that point ( when they voted they werent just marking a bit of paper - it had further meaning ) was put by Mr Eadie yesterday and today to the Supreme Court
I thought their Lordships were gonna exclaim - " are you joking ? as a QC you are gonna seriously argue that a referendum in itself changes the law? "
