Does it have to be spelled out ? We had a referendum to leave the EU. Enough of this faffing about, is the ( Remainer ) PM hoping it will go away ?
I cannot understand why we have to NEGOTIATE with the EU We want OUT let us get out PDQ.
It's nothing but a flamin' farce.
whiskeryron, the PM is not faffing about. When she became PM she said she will trigger Article 50 at the end of March, and she repeated that in parliament today, confirming that the government will abide by the will of the majority of the people who voted in the referendum and deliver Brexit. I'm happy to give something that clearly must take time, time.
If she sticks to that naomi.
Unless she's somehow prevented from sticking to it, she'll stick to it.
Surely naomi if I join a club ( any club) I am entitled to leave when I desire, not when someone else tells me I can !!!
whiskeryron, indeed - but you might have to give notice. I do if I want to leave my club - but my club rules are not as complex as EU rules - so I expect our departure from that club to take a little longer.
"Does it have to be spelled out ?" - I have to do it almost daily Ron! The SGB are not happy!
I'm pretty sure the Brexitables are even less happy, judging by the number of whinging posts on here by them.
Never mind, Zacs-Master. Come March it'll be your turn to whinge. ;o)
"Could It Be That The Sleeping Lion Has Now Awoken?"

Have you ever considered writing headlines for the dailymail as I can see a lot of thought and time went into your header and that's quite a creative flair you have.

""Great oaks from little acorns grow". "

My the creative juices are flowing today.

Sleeping Lion? Or mangy flea ridden feral cat?
Aah yes ... they are not a rabble, causing a disturbance ... they are "lions" ... brave, heroic, blah blah.

One has to love the fact that that the patriotic British lady in the picture half way down, holding a sign saying "Theresa May, Don't Delay" (very clever - she has poetic talent, too!) ... is holding a union flag that is upside down.

One might presume that she is hoping to be rescued.
The lion stretched, raised an eyebrow, yawned and woke up on 23/6/16.
If there is too much more prodding and procrastination it will rise and that will not be pleasant.
I am by no means a far-right person, a very, very peaceable soul in fact and more socialist than Tory (which makes me middling) but I understand the feeling in the country.
Our area voted 60/40 to Leave. The next day people (strangers) were greeting each other and clapping on the shoulders with 'Independence Day!'
on their lips. I witnessed this on my way to the bookies to collect my winnings.

The people will rise violently if they are let down. I feel this in my bones. We need to say 'Out' now. Uncertainty is stoking fires. The 'Bremainers' really don't understand what they are about to release. It is scary to say the least.
^ The man beside her has an upside down flag as well !
//Sleeping Lion? Or mangy flea ridden feral cat?//

I'm with the indigenous mighty Empire Lion, rather than the imported mangy flea ridden feral cat. How about you?

SGB clutching at straws again.
My area voted 70 / 30 to remain, but I hear no protests!

And if our once 'Great British Lion' has been infected in such a way, by those wishing to cuddle up to it for their own protection, then it is time for it to wake up and shake it's self free of it's fleas.
