Has anyone tried to grow goji plants?

Not done it myself but Lycium Chinensis or (Lycium Barbarum) seeds on sale from these guys and others http://www.nickys-nursery.co.uk/seeds/pages/bonsai1.htm (scroll down to chinese woolfberry) so presume you can.
I've read that partly the reason they are so good for you is that the area they grow in in tibet is so unpolluted and the soil is so rich in nutrients there so maybe growing them yourself just wouldnt be the same.
my chinese friend told me tea made from these berries strengthens the eye. it is also good for making soup.
