O_G.........maybe it does not matter to you because it's a word that would not be directed at *you*. Whereas most women find it to be the worst and ugliest word in the English language. Would you be so accepting if it was directed at someone close to you. Words are never *only* words...they have meaning and intent.

I still don't like the word and would never say it myself. I said I'm "almost immune".
I wouldn't want to hear it all the time. That would bother me.
It's not a simple expletive, it has always been a specifically crude word for a part of the female anatomy.
O_G...you've not answered my query. What would your reaction/feelings be if someone called your partner a c***.

Thanks for BA, horseshoes...:-)
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Fresh, risque....Bridget Jones with bards.
As for "that word' I'm with OG.
I hear it so often in work(mostly from females) and during my time in HM Forces that it has absolutely no impact on me. I don't see how someone can be offended by it when the opening scenes involved funny dialogue about anal sex!
Looking forward to next weeks episode.
Hadn't realised that was a question rather than a statement.
I'd wonder how they knew :-)
But it all depends on the circumstances, The word itself is no problem.
Bards? Nay sire! BARBS....bloody predictive shi+e.
