How can I stop annoying adverts from popping up all the time when I am trying to work on various web sites?

Chances are you can't - the ads are what finance the site, so the site owners make sure where possible that they are not only visible, but cannot be tampered with.

Just learn to ignore them.

You can get a pop up blocker.It comes on most anti-virus software.

Download the google pop up blocker, find it through the google search page

I have been using it for over a year and find it excellent
