Hope this is the correct topic for the question. As the lotto draw is supposed to be live on Sat evening I find it quite amazing that Alan can tell in under a second when the number drawn last apeared in a draw. Even with a aid it is very good going.

I should think he is sitting in front of a screen with every number and the date, so just a glance and he has got it.

Yes, presume he has a list of all the numbers details and just reads that off.
