...but now I'm wondering whether it's some clever ruse to avoid ever having to answer questions about his role in the invasion of Iraq.

Is he feigning a mental breakdown?

What other possible reason could there be for this?

bet you found there were others dancing if the service was a black spiritul one. I went to a funeral in Nigeria, (Methodist one) and it was the most humengous celebration of life imaginable, a hell of a wake and there was dancing during the service.

So, I am not surprised - and this is the deep south after all.

Not quite cricket is it for the UK....?
When one has happy feet the music is irresistible.

Glory glory hallelujah !
^I agree. Fuss over nothing.
It looks like this guy is making George W dance.

I can't think of any good thing to say about the guy.

What better tune to swing to than the Battle Hymn of the Republic".

Mr Bush sums it up perfectly.

"We do not want the unity of grief nor do we want the unity of fear. We want the unity of hope, affection and high purpose."

in my view, this is rather a cheap shot at the Shrub...I'm not a great fan of him but this is below the belt.
dancing at a memorial service for people you don't know personally is rather odd behaviour, yes. At weddings, or the funerals of people who you know loved dancing, fine. But this... odd.

I don't we should hold Bush in high esteem.

If he's genuinely showing early signs of dementia, that's one thing - my question would be disgraceful. But what if he's simply an idiot?

It looks as if the Obamas are joining with him, but to me - they have that rictus grin on their faces when they realise that it's down to them to 'handle him'.
