Does anyone happen to know which size eggs Mary Berry uses in her recipes?

Her Victoria sandwich cake recipe states large but some of the others don't specify. If it was me I'd use medium for those which don't specify the size.

To further complicate matters, I find that more expensive eggs have less white and more yolk than cheaper eggs, even if the cheaper eggs are bigger.

I'm sure it must have been easier when there was only dried eggs, my mother used to say that it was all worked out by how many tablespoons full the recipe called for.
