Have been viewing this programme for the past few weeks. Anytime they show footage from the in cell cameras the toilet is blacked out. Why?
Are toilets offensive now?

Some people are offended by toilets even now, so a little sensitivity always helps.
Bog off! ☺
I noticed that. How strange .

In the programme they show footage of suspects talking about rape (last night) Child sex, assault, violence and murder, but a wc is offensive??
It's because it's being recorded and they don't want to film people taking a dump
Maybe it's what's floating in them that causes their black out.
Such censorship deserves to be panned.

Whatever that means.

Then they don't have to air it if someone takes a dump, the toilet is blacked out by black squares when the suspects are asleep..
Perhaps the are just trying to keep a lid on it.

yes, the cells in custody arnt particularly hygienic. theres been many times where ive waited to be released before emptying the chutney channell
You should try any music festival!

For some reason, people who, by definition, can afford over a hundred pounds to attend a festival like Glastonbury, seem to utterly lose the ability to use a toilet properly within two minutes of arriving on site.

Mystery - and not a pleasant one either!
//Some people are offended by toilets ...//

Saints preserve us!
I don't mean for viewers to watch it, its so whoever's in the cell isn't being watched by the police while they're taking a dump or pee

The police arnt concerned about your privacy whilst in their custody Panky.
There's absolutely no mystery in the state of the lavvies at festivals. Everybody's off their tats on drink and drugs and so don't give a moments thought for others.
£100 Andy...double that and add some!!

The state of the toilets at places like Glastonbury is usually down to drug use.

They are much improved from years gone by.
The girls shepee/peeshe toilets are very clean. You get soap and everything :-)
I find long drops very offensive during an Aussie summer, combination of heat, stench and blowflies is even too much for me, that's where an isolated tree and a handful of leaves is much appreciated.

Doubt they have long drops in police custody though.
