I think a lot of people get their iphones on contract.
Like a designer label, to impress.
That stated, I'd doubt a $50 and a $600 phone would be the same quality/functionality regardless of the name.
I don't suppose you have any $50 Android phones for sale that you'll tell us about in a later posting.
In the UK BT will sell you an iPhone 6 for £9...
Probably near impossible to find one that cheap outside a contract deal or a misspelled eBay auction.
"Why do people spend over $600 for an iphone when a $50 Android phone can do the same as an I phone?"

absolute nonsense!!!

and no, I dont have an Iphone, I have an android operating system on my Galaxy note. There is no such thing as an Android phone. you cant compare a phone to an operating system.
I tend to say I-phone or Android. It might be wrong, I'm no expert, but people seem to know what one means.
Svejk, I know but if LorryB wants to make comparisons he needs to be a little more specific.

His statement is still nonsense.
Because its my money and I can spend it how I like.
To be fair, you should compare a £600 iPhone 6s with a £600 Samsung Galaxy S7.
