Red Pesto

I have just made some red basil pesto. I used about 15g of sun dried toms to 50g of basil. It was lacking something though. I ended up putting a couple of dollops of M&S sundried tomato paste in that I had in the fridge. When I have bought red pesto it has been a nice red colour but mine wasn`t like that. Does anyone have a decent recipe? I know there are lots on the internet but most of them are American and the quantities are in cups. I like simple g and ml.

Some US sites allow you to switch units. e.g. if you click on 'US units' here

you're given the option to switch to metric units. (OK, you need to do a bit of rounding but it's not exactly rocket science to change '118.29 ml' to '120ml').
That recipe has excellent reviews, BTW.

The chilli and parmesan in this (British) recipe should give the flavour a bit of a kick!

This (also in metric units) looks good too:

^^^ Oops!

Link in the wrong place. (The last one should have been after the second paragraph).
