Transformer Book Won't Turn On

Hi all, I bought an Asus T100 Transformer Book from Amazon. It was on special offer and cheaper than my local Currys store. I have plugged it in to charge. It has now been on the charger for about two hours, and I have pressed the on/off button as instructed in the accompanying booklet, but can't get the thing to turn on. I have no idea if it is actually charging, as the screen is completely dark.
Can anyone offer any suggestions about this?

Have you got a different charger you could try?

You were spot on, HC. The charger was faulty. A different charge did the trick.
