Can anyone suggest web sites I can get information about landlords & tenants responsibilities, as I am about to rent out my house and want to be sure I stay within the law, but also address problems such as bad payers and disruptive tenants?

There are quite a few websites offering advice to landlords, and you could do your own Google search on "advice for landlords" (but, on the assumption that you are in the UK, select the "pages from the UK" option).
