If she is over-running, I'd give it around twenty minutes,. if I had to be elsewhere, otherwise I would wait.

The barber's where I go is seriously popular - they don't do appointments, and I have waited an our before now, because I like my hair cut every Friday afternoon, and of course, so does everyone else!
I'll wait as long as it takes, Conne.....where better for all the gossip?....☺
I think some keep you waiting so that your hair will grow that bit longer and they can charge you extra:-)

well gness - because of the deaf problem - I can't participate but yesterday one hairdresser never shut her mouth distracting the other hairdresser - oh lordy I thought they were never going to stop talking.

my appointment was 12.30 and my hair was getting washed at 13.35 - too long in my estimation and no, they didn't stop for lunch or anything
Ahhhh...just position yourself to lip read.....secretly...... ;-)

Must admit I left a hairdresser of many years when a new lass started and never shut up with the loud banter and giggling...x

LOL - what I did lipread I sure wasn't interested. The gobby one kept saying she wanted her boyfriend to work more - repeated repeated and repeated. Gawd I was bored senseless.

I just want to get in and out as quick as possible.
That's too long to be waiting JJ.
Did you complain or express your unhappiness over the delay.
Hairdressers never run on time. Around here it is not unusual to see a hairdresser still working at 10/11pm at night.
