If men are supposed to marry women who remind them of their mother, and women are supposed to marry men who remind them of their fathers. Do gay men marry men who remind them of their father and do lesbians marry women who remind them of their mother?

I really hope I don't marry a woman that is like my mother!!! Could you imagine?!

Yuck!!!!!

:Ace:

Having been married twice, I can assure you that on neither occasion did I marry someone who reminded me of my mother.

I don't think Old Wives' Tales are allowed nowadays. I think they have to be called Urban Myths.

My gf is nothing like my mother (I am very much like my mam though so my gf knows what she's getting in 10/20 years time lol).

My gf is nothing like her mother (more like her father in temprament sp?) and it's a good job cos I really don't get on with her mother - typical mother-in-law syndrome.
