2. machinery
4. Nougat
2 is MACHINERY

5 is chicken I think. Trousers, shave and rabbit are all words from titles of Wallace and Gromit movies. The Chicken Run is missing so I reckon chicken. (Not so sure about the order in which they're given though as a sequence, don't think they're in any particular order. To be a sequence the order should be meaningful??)

No clue of others.
5 lastword form titles of Wallace and Gromit Films

the title of the first film was
A Grand Day Out

so the missing word could be out
Foxlee, can you explain nougat please, don't geddit? Tks.
4. Nougat - sequence of six letter words each one starting with last two letters of the previous answer.
1 B - bottom line of keyboard
3. J for Joshua - sequence of books in the Bible
Nougat, very good, Foxlee and Fibonacci

thanks for all your help. I know where to come next time I get stuck on something!

Rachael

To expand answer 4 - it began with the last two letters of the previous word and ended with the beginning two letters of the next word but I don't think there was any sort of sequence for the middle two letters
